Industrial Engine
The Crown C-5 Series features a robust 2.4 liter industrial engine. Crown engineers collaborated with John Deere to co-develop this exclusive industrial solution so it delivers reliable power and performance.

The C-5’s tougher, more durable components not only provide immediate benefits like helping to prevent overheating, but also offer long-term value by extending service intervals and increasing the truck’s lifespan to 20,000 hours. The Crown C-5 Series is the new industrial power in the material handling industry.

Transaxle
An industrial transmission and axle deliver unmatched power to get more done. Their robust design, cast iron housing and high-temperature seals keep you running in the hottest, toughest applications. And they’re backed by an unprecedented 36-month/6,000 hour warranty.

Comprehensive Cooling System
The Crown C-5 comes standard with a Dual Open Core Radiator that provides separate cooling for the engine and transmission, and a more efficient fin design that prevents debris buildup.

But Crown takes cooling a step further with its exclusive On-Demand Cooling (ODC) System. ODC delivers precise cooling by running the fan only when it’s needed. Its radiator clearing feature automatically blows out the radiator to dislodge dust and debris. The ODC option delivers cost savings that no other cooling system or forklift manufacturer can offer.

Power Brake
Crown’s large, full-circle brake pads last three times longer than those on traditional drum brakes, making them the longest lasting brake pads on the market.

Chassis
C-5 Series frames are engineered from the ground up and thoroughly tested in Crown’s labs as well as thousands of hours in customer applications. Formed from heavy-duty 3/4” steel that’s carefully assigned to the right points in the frame, the Crown C-5 withstands the rigors of even the toughest applications.

Visibility
A clear view mast and low-profile chassis allow operators to clearly see the forktips, enabling high visibility for improved safety and reduced damage.

“Waterfall” design of overhead guard increases strength and visibility when high-stacking.

A low-profile cowl provides the best forward visibility in this class of truck.
