After a challenging year of working through COVID19 and recognizing Action Lift’s 21st Crown Summit Award, we were thrilled to hold our Employee Appreciation Day on July 23rd. Everyone enjoyed a catered lunch from Just Fred’s and ice cream from Manning’s Mobile Ice Cream Truck. Axe throwing from Axe Attack and corn hole provided some extra enjoyment.

2020 has been described as unprecedented, challenging, and surreal, to name a few. Our lives have included new practices like social distancing, masking, and sanitizing. Phrases such as superspreader, quarantine, and stimulus became part of our daily news. Throughout it all, Action Lift has operated as an essential business.

In December 2020, Action Lift, Inc. will reach a milestone—35 years of doing business in the material handling industry. The company is the largest, locally owned material-handling equipment supplier in Northeastern Pennsylvania, providing top-notch equipment with the region's best service.

Supporting the supply chain by providing material handling equipment and services meets the criteria established by state and county governments to be an essential business. Action Lift remains open to service our customers, many that provide life-sustaining products and services that keep our communities safe and thriving.

At Action Lift, we have implemented a policy and will be following best practices to deal with COVID-19. Our offices are open, and we are operating daily to provide service to our customers. Christmas is a time of giving, so we’d like to give a huge THANK YOU to our Action Lift team. We enjoyed a very special luncheon catered by Krista’s Kitchen. Thank you, Krista! Also, in December, Action Lift was honored to win the Gold Award in NEPA Best Places to Work. This recognition would not be possible without our great employees. We appreciate their dedication and wish all a Happy Holiday Season as we look forward to a healthy & prosperous New Year.

We enjoyed a perfect night for baseball at PNC Field on August 3rd. Action Lift employees and their guests were treated to an all-you-can-eat buffet and premier seating to watch the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Yankees AAA) and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Phillies AAA). Many thanks to our management for giving us a great night at the ballpark.

In recognition of Action Lift’s 20th Crown Summit Award, and appreciation for everyone’s hard work throughout the year, we held an Employee Appreciation Day on June 14th. Many thanks to our company leadership for working the grills and Krista’s Kitchen for the great food.
