In recognition of Action Lift’s 20th Crown Summit Award, and appreciation for everyone’s hard work throughout the year, we held an Employee Appreciation Day on June 14th. Many thanks to our company leadership for working the grills and Krista’s Kitchen for the great food.

On June 11th, 2019 the sixth annual National Forklift Safety Day will be held by the Industrial Truck Association (ITA). The objective of National Forklift Safety Day is to educate individuals on the best practices regarding forklift safety, the importance of operator training and the need for daily equipment checks.

We recently welcomed the Kelley Entrematic Mobile Academy to NE Pennsylvania. A sampling of Kelley's portfolio of dock levelers, vehicle restraints, dock seals & shelters were demoed, providing an opportunity to experience this cutting-edge dock and door technology firsthand.

Don’t underestimate the importance of using the right forklift attachment. The correct attachment will improve the handling of a load, thereby reducing the chance of damaging the product. More efficient load handling saves time, manpower, and fuel consumption—saving your operation money!

Spring has arrived in NE Pennsylvania, and so we anticipate the promise of warmer weather and longer days. But as we eagerly await golf, gardening, and all things outdoors; let’s shift to getting your forklift ready for warmer weather. Here are some tasks to put on your spring maintenance to-do list.

Be prepared as new industry standards are on the way. Standards A92.22 and A92.24 make sweeping changes to how the safe use and training for aerial equipment are addressed and administered. The new rules are placing a significant emphasis on the responsibilities of the user. Our training program will address the impact these changes will have on your fleet and operators.

The ANSI (American National Standards Institute) has implemented extensive changes to Standard A92. Once final, all aerial equipment brands and manufacturers serving the North American market and users of the equipment will have one year to comply. Here we will touch on the new standards for the safe use (A92.22) and training (A92.24) as it relates to aerial lift equipment. These changes go into effect March 2019.
