Our Employee Spotlight for September is Aaron Root. Aaron lives in Clarks Summit and enjoys the quiet life of the community. He has a young son, Colton, and they sadly just lost their 20-year-old dog, Kit. Let’s get to know more about Aaron.

AL: How long have you been with Action Lift?

I will be here nine years this December.

AL: Briefly, what does your job entail?

I travel to customer locations to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on their equipment.

AL: Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

My maternal grandfather was an equipment tech for Case Medico when I was a child. The work he did got me interested in mechanics.

AL: What best advice can you give someone who just started their career

My best advice is that you’ll never know everything and should always be willing to learn from others.  

AL: When you are at work, how do you motivate yourself?

I like listening to podcasts or audiobooks. They are great for gaining knowledge of the latest trends.

AL: What kind of activities do you enjoy in your free time?

Some hobbies I enjoy are hunting, target shooting, and building guns.

AL: Regarding successes, which accomplishments are you most proud of?

My greatest success has been my son Colton. I am enjoying the little boy he’s growing to be!

AL: Tell us something about you that most people don’t know.

I was a fine arts major in photography before I started turning wrenches.
